What are the entry requirements for Zimbabwe?
Visa requirements depend on which country you are travelling from and your passport origin. Please check with the Zimbabwe immigration site for requirements on www.evisa.gov.zw under Visa Regime.
For those that require a visa please note the minimum fee is $60 USD (cash only) and it is paid on arrival. All visa applications must be submitted online by 20 May 2023 to avoid delays. If you have any specific questions regarding visas, please contact tendai.murumbi@opeaal.co.zw.
What are the COVID test requirements?
If you’re fully vaccinated, you can enter Zimbabwe by presenting a vaccine certificate (2 doses) for one or more of the World Health Organisation-approved vaccines. Alternatively, you can present a valid negative test certificate of a COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 48 hours prior to departure.
What form of currency & payment cards are accepted?
Zimbabwe is largely cash-based and the USD$ is widely accepted. We encourage you to carry cash if possible.
We will have card machines (POS Machines) at the International Pastors and Leaders Summit for payments accepting Visa/MasterCard and debit/credit cards. Please make sure you have your physical card as contactless payment might not work.
What will the weather be like?
May is the end of summer in Zimbabwe with daytime temperatures averaging 30 °C (86 °F) and evening temperatures averaging 18 °C (64.4 °F).
